Fast food industry is poisoning society. Not to society's dismay on the contrary, people love eating convenient fast food that is pumped full of additives, flavor enhancers and a new term scientists have coined excito-toxins (meaning substances such as monosodium glutamate).

There are record high numbers for adults and children both ailed by coronary diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, and even diabetes. Why are people plumping up and loving it?

Every day is a series of choices. People decide they are going to eat healthy starting tomorrow, and when tomorrow comes they feel the same was as they did today.

Been there? Of course, that is the human's natural ability to daydream, procrastinate and indulge all at the same time while still feeling good about themselves.

These foods that come in paper bags through drive through windows don't have the necessary nutrition to feed one's body; they are basically a conglomeration of plastic and spices rolled into the preserves of some cow's who-knows-what. Eating these day after day is going to have an effect on health, and that is a fact.

Some people are very aware of how they feel and what causes them to feel that way. When these people eat foods that have no nutrients and
are packed with synthetic flavorings, they can tell because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

Other people are so used to the sordid diet; their bodies have become accustomed to feeling in poor health. The body has a very remarkable ability to adapt.

This is what makes doing things that are strenuous easy after a while, such as weight lifting, doing puzzles, and even eating healthy or unhealthy foods. Unhealthy foods are strenuous on the body, from the inside out.

But when so much of it is ingested the body starts to develop a need for the chemicals and substances inside that specific type of food. This situation is predominantly caused by monosodium glutamate.

This is the same thing that happens to a drug addict or a smoker who can't quit smoking cigarettes. That it seems impossible to stop, it is not.

Experiencing actual physical repercussions from quitting cold turkey is not uncommon. Feeling a constant craving to eat food when you have already eaten is a common side effect of those who are trying to stop.

Other side effects may include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, hot or cold sweats and some light mood disorders such as aggravation, irritation, shortness of temper, and so on. Instead of eating for convenience, try eating for sustenance.

In place of processed meats eat whole hearty beets.
