Eggs, the first thing you actually learned how to cook. Top Romen doesn't count because you just put that in the microwave.
You can say it counts, but really it takes no technique, skill, or practice, so no, it doesn't. Eggs on the other hand do require practice, the first time you were probably overly concerned about cooking them so they turned out perfect.
But as you get more comfortable with the cooking process you will notice that sometimes you over cook the eggs and sometimes they are a little less done. Over time you will eventually get to the point where you can make scrambled, fried or even omelets.
Scrambled are certainly the easiest, you do not have to worry about a yoke breaking or turning the thing over on itself, you simply scramble the eggs. Have you ever thought of getting creative and actually making scrambled eggs that taste gourmet?
To prepare, you will need 3 slices of thick cut bacon, 3 eggs, half a cup of lemon soaked onions, a slice of lemon, and lastly some jalapeno/ guacamole sauce. To prepare the onions, cut medium onion into one half inch slices.
Use a chef's blade with a rounded edge to get proper cutting technique. Slice the onion as if it were a globe along the equator and then perpendicularly with a vertical line up the middle.
You should have thin stringy onions, place them in lemon water and let them sit for an hour or two. Preparing the guacamole sauce is very simple, take half an avocado and a jalapeno toss them in a blender with some juice from the onion broth.
Mix to desired consistency, preferably a little more runny. Cook the bacon and cut it into bits, scramble eggs with the bacon bits and the onion slices.
While scrambling the concoction squeeze a little lime over the top. Now once it is all cooked pour contents into a bowl and garnish with the avocado, guacamole sauce.
If you are looking to spice up your breakfast, this is a fast and simple way to do it. You can prepare more avocado sauce and onions and store them in your fridge, so that cooking in the morning doesn't take more than 10 minutes.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so start doing it gourmet. That should be your motto because nobody has taken it yet.
Even if someone had it should still be everybody's personal motto, or maybe some sort of mantra. Anyway, enjoy the scrambled eggs with bacon, onions and guacamole sauce.
