You've probably heard the term "acai berry" floating around a lot lately.  There is even an acai berry hoax that is rapidly spreading around. The acai berry was only recently found within the Brazilian rain forest and has been hailed world wide as a miraculous berry because of its health benefits. Acai provides a great amount of antioxidants, an amino acid supplement, and it is simply a berry that's good for you. The berry also is comprised of omega-3 fatty acids as well as oleic acid, which is very had to come by in foods.

Aside from all of these benefits. Many people are interested in the Acai's weight loss properties.  The media hype surrounding certain products has told us that it's positive in some ways and negative in other, which does not assist us in making a decision. Is there any truth to all of this?  Does it really help  you lose weight or is this an acai berry hoax?  

The acai berry can help you shed weight--this is the simple truth. The acai berry hoax is perpectuated when an item containing
acai promises to be a magical weight loss aid, when in actuallity, as with all other foods, the acai berry is not a miracle solution to excess pounds. The acai berry won't help rid 120 pounds from your body in  a just a few months, particularily if you continue to eat unhealthily.  

When used in conjunction with a health diet and exercise routine, the acai berry is a wonderful weight loss aid.  This is why.  

First, by consuming healthy sweet snacks and drinks that are make with acai, you will satisfy your sweet tooth and you will be less likely to cheat on your nutritional program by snacking on unhealthy sweets.

Second, all of the amindo acids, healthy fats, and fiber will help control your appetite.  The good fats that the acai contains will also aid your digestive system with processing fats. Fat synthesis is your ability to burn fat, even as it prevents you from eating too much.  

Acai may not be a miracle food but it is also not a hoax.  But if you utilize acai as a dietary supplement with proper diet and exercise, it will help you shed those extra pounds.
