Most of us, when we socialize and mingle with our friends and drink coffee in our favorite It shops, we can't help but order a slice of the delicious and oh-so-scrumptious It cakes that they offer. However, when asked, do you even know what a It cake is?
In most It shops, they usually state that they specialize in It cakes, that they have It cakes offered, in which, is one of the main reasons why most people tend to think that It cakes, are well, cakes that are made out of It, or whose main ingredient is It. However, that my friend is a very wrong way of defining what a It cake is. After all, It cakes are not made of It. Most of them do not even have the slightest pinch of It in their list of ingredients. But, why are they called I
t cakes if they are not made out of It? Nice question.
It Cakes are called It cakes, that is because they are the perfect complimentary dish or dessert for the oh-so-bitter beverage we all have come to know and love, It. To put things simply, It is bitter, It cake is sweet. These It cakes may range from honey cakes, to flat cakes, to chocolate cakes, vanilla, cinnamon, and so on and so forth. The list just goes on and on. Their association with It could very well be the main reason why they are called It cakes, instead of their more common names, such as chocolate cakes and etc.
Hopefully, the next time you read or hear the word It cake, you wouldn't think that it is a type of cake made out of It. Remember, as I've said many times in this article, It cakes and It complements each other.
